SHIFTLab Artist 2016-2017, Titillations Playwright/Actor
Yvette Dudley-Neuman is a powerhouse of energy dedicated to "the work" and committed to revealing humanity through story. As an award winning actor, writer, and historical re-enactment director/producer, Yvette's passion for words has generated songs, poems, and short films. She's written several plays: Detention Divas, Christmas Crackers, and The F Words (winner: Honourable Mention 2014, Theatre BC Playwriting Competition). Yvette's twenty-nine historical re-enactment scripts (City of Surrey Archives) were awarded the 2015 BC Recreation & Parks Association (BCRPA) Provincial Award of Excellence.
Madelyn Osborne is a Vancouver-based theatre director, creator and mover. She is a graduate of the Douglas College Theatre Program and received an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Acting from the University of Wales. She was recently selected for Rumble's Emerging Directors Lab where she studied with Weyni Mengesha. Madelyn is one half of the performance art duo MOMS which focuses on creating interactive community building works. Up next: Asking Alice a one-on-one, interactive, installation; a Wonderland for the hopelessly curious. AA premiers at rEvolver Festival 2018. SHIFTLab Mentor 2016-2017 (Titillations development)
Rachel was recently named the Associate Artistic Director of the Citadel Theatre. In June 2017, she won the Jessie Richardson Award for Outstanding Direction for her work on Green Lake, produced by Solo Collective. In the past season, Rachel directed The Marriage of Figaro for Vancouver Opera, Angels in America: Part One for Studio 58, and L'Élection for Théâtre la Seizième. In 2016, Rachel directed SexyVoices for Realwheels Theatre, Mata Hari for Single Line Theatre, Trout Stanley for Persephone Theatre, and Sustainability in an Imaginary World at UBC. In 2014, Rachel was Directing Intern at the Shaw Festival.
